Verydarkman Debunks Viral Burna Boy Concert Clip, Claims Fan Ejection Story Misleading

Nigerian Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has recently faced online backlash after a fan was reportedly ejected from one of his concerts in the United States for allegedly “sleeping” during the show.

However, controversial critic Verydarkman has cast doubt on the viral claims, suggesting the incident may not have occurred as widely reported.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Verydarkman analyzed a clip circulating on X (formerly Twitter), which shows the moment a fan was removed. According to the critic, the video is actually a re-edited clip from the 2020 End SARS protests in Abuja, not footage from the recent concert.

He also pointed out inconsistencies regarding the Instagram account linked to the fan’s post, noting that it was created in July 2022 and has changed its username six times, raising questions about the authenticity of the claims.

Responding to claims that Burna Boy lost over 100,000 Instagram followers following the incident, Verydarkman provided evidence contradicting these numbers. He further shared an older clip from the same account showing fans’ absence at Burna Boy’s Coachella performance, suggesting the video was misrepresented.

The development has sparked fresh debates online, with fans divided over the authenticity of the viral clip. Some argue that Burna Boy’s response during the concert was justified, while others say the controversy may have been amplified by misleading footage.

This story underscores the growing importance of verifying viral content on social media before drawing conclusions, especially in the fast-moving world of entertainment news.
