Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has stirred controversy online after claiming he possesses a videotape showing how the late singer Mohbad was allegedly killed.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Fabiyi said the clip was reportedly sent to him by Mohbad’s younger brother, who allegedly intended to use it to demand money from him.
Actor Speaks Out
Fabiyi wrote:
“I am putting my life on the line to make sure justice is done. This video proves what really happened, and it cannot be ignored. I will not stay silent while the truth is hidden and those responsible go unpunished.”
He described the video as containing “murder evidence and confession” and has called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene immediately to ensure justice is served.
“They want to silence me and use the video against you in the next election, your excellency. Look into this matter. I don’t know why it is suddenly wrong to be loyal to your government,” Fabiyi added.
Call for Accountability
The actor emphasized that justice must not be delayed, naming Wunmi Cynthia and others as suspects. He stressed that no one should be above the law and that every Nigerian deserves to see the system work for all citizens.
Public Reaction
Fabiyi’s explosive revelation has reignited public interest in Mohbad’s controversial death, leaving Nigerians questioning whether this new evidence will advance the case or spark further confusion.
