Doris Ogala Displays Alleged $10,000 Payment From Pastor Chris Okafor Amid Legal Dispute

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has shared a video online showing what she described as $10,000 in cash allegedly received from Lagos-based cleric Pastor Chris Okafor, alongside screenshots of text messages purportedly exchanged between them.

The development comes amid an ongoing public and legal dispute between the actress and the cleric, which has continued to attract widespread attention on social media.

Background to the Dispute

Ogala has been in the headlines in recent weeks after alleging that she ended her previous marriage due to pressure from Pastor Okafor. She is also pursuing a ₦1 billion lawsuit against the cleric, accusing him of breach of promise to marry, emotional distress, reputational harm, and the alleged unauthorized release of private photographs.

These claims have not been determined by any court at the time of this report.

Actress Shares Video and Messages

In a video posted on her Instagram page, Ogala displayed the cash and claimed that the cleric had attempted to persuade her to make certain public statements in his favour. She alleged that she accepted the money deliberately, describing it as evidence to support her version of events.

The post also included screenshots of chats she attributed to Pastor Okafor. As of the time of filing this report, the authenticity of the messages has not been independently verified.

Related Allegations Circulating Online

Separately, social media commentator VeryDarkMan had earlier shared an audio recording attributed to a woman identified as Precious, who was described as Pastor Okafor’s alleged daughter. In the audio, the speaker made several serious claims about her experiences while living in the cleric’s household.

The allegations contained in the recording include claims of unequal treatment within the family and disturbing assertions involving her mother. These claims remain unverified, and no official findings or court rulings have been issued in relation to them.

No Official Response Yet

As of the time of this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not issued a formal public response addressing the latest video or the allegations referenced by Ogala. Law enforcement authorities have also not announced any conclusions regarding the claims circulating online.

The situation remains a developing story, with observers noting that several of the issues raised may ultimately be addressed through ongoing legal proceedings rather than social media exchanges.
