“Either I Make Money or Die Young” — Old Destiny Boy Post Resurfaces as Money Ritual Allegations Explode Online

An old Instagram post by late Afrofuji singer Destiny Boy has resurfaced online, triggering heated debates and renewed speculation about the circumstances surrounding his sudden death.

The post, made months before his passing, has taken on a disturbing new meaning for fans following unverified claims linking the young singer’s death to alleged money rituals.

Destiny Boy’s Chilling Instagram Words

The late singer, whose real name was Afeez Adeshina, once shared a post on his Instagram page @iam_destinyboy that many Nigerians are now describing as prophetic.

In the post, Destiny Boy wrote:

“Either I make this money or I die young.

Money must be made.”

Following confirmation of his death at just 22 years old, the post has gone viral again, with many users expressing shock at how literal the statement now appears.

Money Ritual Allegations Rock Social Media

The resurfaced post gained even more traction after a man who claimed to have known Destiny Boy since childhood alleged that the singer was involved in money rituals, suggesting this may have contributed to his untimely death.

Although no evidence has been presented, the claim spread rapidly across social media platforms, igniting fierce arguments and speculation.

Babalawo Named in Fresh Accusation

Adding fuel to the controversy, another Nigerian man came forward online, accusing a babalawo identified as Ifayemi of allegedly giving Destiny Boy spiritual materials he described as “too much for someone of his age.”

The accuser alleged that the spiritual practices may have overwhelmed the young singer, a claim that has since divided public opinion.

Fans React: Shock, Anger, and Confusion

The combination of Destiny Boy’s old Instagram post and the growing allegations has left fans unsettled. While some expressed disbelief and called for restraint, others demanded a proper investigation to clarify the true cause of death.

Many users also cautioned against spreading unverified claims, stressing that no official statement has linked Destiny Boy’s death to rituals or any spiritual activity.
