Russian Man “Yaytseslav” Sparks Outrage After Allegedly Recording African Ladies Without Consent

A Russian content creator identified online as Yaytseslav has sparked massive outrage across Ghana, Nigeria, and other African countries after reports emerged that he allegedly secretly recorded intimate encounters with African women and shared the videos online.

The scandal began trending heavily between February 11 and 13, 2026, as clips and screenshots circulated widely on X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, and Telegram, triggering heated debates about consent, exploitation, and online safety.

Who Is Yaytseslav?

According to viral reports, Yaytseslav is a Russian man who travels and creates content by approaching women in public places, engaging them in conversations, and allegedly convincing them to follow him to private locations.

What has angered many Africans is the claim that he secretly recorded these encounters without the women’s knowledge, then uploaded them online.

Ray-Ban Smart Glasses Allegedly Used

A major part of the controversy is the allegation that the Russian man used Ray-Ban smart glasses or similar hidden recording devices to capture the videos discreetly.

Many social media users pointed out that smart glasses can record in high quality without being easily noticed.

Accra Mall Videos Sparked the Biggest Reactions

Although reports suggest similar content may exist from other countries, the videos that caused the biggest outrage were allegedly filmed in Ghana, with multiple clips reportedly linked to areas around Accra Mall.

The scandal quickly expanded beyond Ghana after Nigerian users began sharing the story and reacting to the disturbing allegations.

Public Calls for Arrest and Deportation

Following the viral spread, many Africans called on Ghanaian authorities to:

  • Investigate the content creator

  • Arrest him if the allegations are confirmed

  • Deport him for violating privacy laws

Many also demanded stronger laws against non-consensual recording and distribution of explicit content.

Mixed Reactions Online

As expected, reactions online have been divided.

While many condemned the Russian man for exploitation and privacy violation, others unfortunately shifted the blame to the women involved — a development that has sparked even more debate on social media.

A number of users also warned young women to be more cautious when meeting strangers, especially foreigners who may be using hidden recording devices.

Growing Concerns Over Privacy and Exploitation

The incident has reopened discussions about:

  • consent in relationships

  • hidden camera technology

  • exploitation of African women online

  • the dangers of viral social media culture

Many have described the case as a strong reminder that privacy can be violated in seconds, especially with modern wearable gadgets.
