Femi Apefe Speaks After Rumours Link Him to Late Actress Aunty Ajara’s Pregnancy

Nollywood actor Femi Adewole, popularly known as Femi Apefe, has reacted to rumours linking him to the death of his late colleague Aunty Ajara following claims that he was responsible for her alleged pregnancy.

The actor addressed the allegations in a video shared online, where he explained his relationship with the late actress and denied being involved in any pregnancy.

Aunty Ajara reportedly died after suffering pregnancy complications and liver related health issues.

Before her death, colleagues had asked for financial help online as her condition became serious.

After news of her pregnancy surfaced, old videos of her with Femi Apefe began circulating on social media, leading to accusations that the actor was responsible.

Apefe said he met the actress about two years ago and noticed her talent immediately.

According to him, he often invited her to movie locations because he believed she was a gifted performer.

He said they became close friends and she sometimes visited his house, but insisted their relationship was strictly professional and friendly.

The actor explained that one of the viral videos showing Aunty Ajara as pregnant was from a comedy skit they created together.

He said the idea was for her to act as a pregnant woman, and the scene was filmed at his house.

According to him, that video later caused people to believe she was pregnant in real life.

He insisted the only pregnancy he knew about was the one in the skit.

Apefe said the late actress sometimes felt insecure about her body size, but he always encouraged her to continue acting.

He described her as talented and hardworking, adding that her death was painful.

The actor denied all allegations and urged the public to stop spreading false claims about him.
