Singer Shanko Rasheed’s Wife Alleges Abuse, Blames Him After Son’s Death

Adeyemi Kafayat, wife of Nigerian singer Shanko Rasheed, has opened up about her troubled marriage following the death of their son, making serious allegations against the singer during an emotional interview.

Speaking in an interview with Biola Bayo, Kafayat claimed she has been facing hardship, abuse, and separation from her children after the tragic loss.

According to her, the singer accused her of being responsible for their son’s death when the incident happened.

She said he came to the hospital angry and began chasing her while blaming her for the tragedy.

Kafayat stated that hospital staff had to hide her for safety after people present defended her.

She insisted she could never harm her child and said the boy meant everything to her.

The mother of three alleged that Shanko Rasheed took custody of their other children after the incident.

She said she has not seen the children for days and does not know where they are staying.

According to her, the singer does not have a stable home and she accused him of smoking around the children and being violent in the past.

Kafayat also claimed she suffered abuse during the relationship.

She said the singer beat her several times and even assaulted their late son.

She further alleged that she once lost a pregnancy because of stress and physical violence.

She said there was a period when their rent expired and they had to stay in a church because they could not afford accommodation.

She also accused the singer of not helping when their son became sick.

According to her, she called him for support but he allegedly said he was busy fixing his car and asked her to raise money instead.

She said the child later died in the hospital despite her efforts to save him.
