Social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Blessing CEO, has broken her silence following her recent arraignments by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), revealing that she is currently battling three separate cases and has been remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
In a statement shared on her verified Instagram page, Blessing CEO, whose real name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, insisted that she remained in high spirits despite her legal troubles.
According to her, the first case involving an alleged ₦36 million fraud stemmed from a tenancy dispute.
She also described the second case, involving an alleged ₦69 million, as another tenancy-related matter, maintaining that she did not sell any property that did not belong to her.
“First ₦36 million naira, I don’t pay finish. Tenancy dispute.
“Second ₦69 million naira, tenancy dispute. I did not sell anybody house my office. I will gist you all after the case is over. But I am in high spirit,” she wrote.
Blessing CEO further addressed the latest ₦13 million case, which the EFCC alleged was linked to donations she received after reportedly claiming she had Stage 4 breast cancer.
The influencer disclosed that she pleaded not guilty to all the charges brought against her.
“Third cancer drama, ₦13 million donated and the gal wey say I doctor her result. Pleaded not guilty to all of the charges after spending 26 days in EFCC custody,” she stated.
She also confirmed that she had been remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre pending the perfection of her bail conditions.
“I have now been remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Center make I go rest, pending on when perfect my bail,” she added.
Reflecting on her previous experience in prison, Blessing CEO noted that this would be the second time she would be held at the correctional facility.
According to her, the first time was in 2022 over allegations bordering on defamation and cyberbullying.
“Second time going to prison. First time was 2022, alleged defamation and cyberbullying. So second time in Kirikiri Correctional Center na him be say I go gats to contest for president. Incoming,” she joked.
Despite the ongoing court cases, the influencer expressed optimism that she would overcome the situation, describing it as part of a bigger purpose.
“It will end in praise. Remember say if God wants to use you, he needs to put you through fire like Yakubu, so I go manage because this story is my biggest breakthrough.
“Watch God turn this into a big stepping stone,” she wrote.
She thanked the EFCC for what she described as “free publicity” and urged her followers to keep her in their prayers.
“Thank you to EFCC for the free publicity. Story dey my lovers. Just put me in your prayer. I am coming back stronger,” she said.
Blessing CEO also appealed to supporters not to send money if her bank accounts were frozen, while assuring them that she appreciated the outpouring of love and support.
As of the time of filing this report, the EFCC has not issued any response to her latest public statements. The allegations against Blessing CEO remain before the courts, and she is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
