Nollywood actress has publicly accused her estranged husband, Peggy Ovire, of having an affair with a married woman and delaying the divorce process between them.
The actress made the allegations in a series of posts shared via her Instagram Story, where she claimed that Frederick was the one who initiated the divorce proceedings but has repeatedly failed to appear in court.
Peggy Speaks On Divorce Proceedings
According to Peggy, Frederick did not show up after being served court documents relating to the divorce case.
She urged the actor not to miss the next hearing scheduled for June 23, warning that she intends to present evidence to support her claims.
“You said you wanted a divorce, yet you didn’t show up when you were served. Please don’t avoid the customary court for the second time on June 23rd because I’m coming with receipts, and let’s get this divorce done and dusted,” she wrote.
Alleges Affair With Married Woman
The actress further alleged that Frederick was involved in a relationship with another man’s wife, claiming that the woman involved is married with four children.
Peggy also accused the actor of previously dismissing her claims through a blogger.
According to her, Frederick changed his approach after reviewing the contents of her divorce petition.
“So-called traditional Igbo man with another Igbo man’s wife with four children. You ran to a blogger that I was lying, but when you were served and saw details of my petition, you knew I had seen one out of many,” she alleged.
Rumours Of Marital Crisis
Speculation about trouble in the couple’s marriage first gained attention months ago.
Fans began raising concerns after Frederick Leonard did not publicly celebrate Peggy’s birthday last year. The rumours intensified when the actress shared Christmas photos without her husband.
Earlier this year, Peggy also shared a cryptic social media post asking women what they would do if they discovered their partner was involved with a married woman who had children, further fueling separation rumours.
