Fake Presidential Council Boss Prince Adeyemi Speaks Out, Says His Life Is in Danger Ahead of Abuja Court Trial

Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the man facing allegations of forging government appointment letters and falsely presenting himself as the Director-General of the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) and Presidential Economic Advisory Council (PEAC), has claimed that his life is under threat.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television on Monday, July 13, Adeyemi denied going into hiding despite the criminal allegations against him. He insisted that he remains willing to appear before authorities but fears for his safety.

According to him, he has received information suggesting that his life is in danger and alleged that there have been several attempts to harm him.

“I’m ready to show my face. I’m not hiding. I’m only afraid because I have credible information that my life is at risk,” Adeyemi said during the programme. He also claimed there had been multiple attempts on his life but did not provide details or identify those allegedly responsible.

His comments come amid ongoing investigations into the activities of the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, an organisation the Presidency has repeatedly stated does not exist as a recognised government agency.

The Nigeria Police Force is set to arraign Adeyemi before the Federal High Court in Abuja over multiple criminal allegations, including forgery and impersonation.

Court documents marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025 indicate that Adeyemi and two other defendants will face eight counts related to the alleged offences.

Police investigators further claimed that before his arrest, Adeyemi operated the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council from an office located on the second floor of the Federal Secretariat Complex, Phase III, Abuja.

The case has attracted public attention following repeated warnings by the Presidency that the PFIPC and the Presidential Economic Advisory Council, as represented by the accused, are not recognised agencies of the Federal Government. Authorities are expected to continue prosecution as the matter proceeds before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
