Tolanibaj Opens Up On Plans To Freeze Her Eggs, Says ‘I’d Rather Have Options Than Regrets’

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and disc jockey Tolanibaj has revealed that she is taking steps to preserve her fertility by learning about the process of freezing her eggs.

The 32-year-old reality TV personality shared the update in a recent vlog, explaining that she wants to make informed decisions about her future and ensure she has options when the time comes to start a family.

According to Tolanibaj, her decision is driven by a desire to avoid future regrets and to take proactive steps regarding her reproductive health.

I want to freeze my eggs because I would rather have options than regrets in the future. I realised that I needed more information about the process, so I booked an appointment with my gynaecologist at One Wellness Centre,” she said.

Although she has already consulted a specialist and begun learning about the procedure, Tolanibaj clarified that she is not planning to undergo egg freezing immediately.

I am not freezing my eggs now, but I will maybe next year or in two years,” she added.

Her disclosure has sparked conversations on social media about fertility preservation, with many praising her openness and highlighting the growing awareness around reproductive health and family planning.

Egg freezing, also known as oocyte cryopreservation, is a medical procedure that allows women to preserve unfertilised eggs for future use. The option has become increasingly popular among women who wish to delay pregnancy for personal, medical or career-related reasons.
