Victor Osimhen Transfer Update: Galatasaray Receive €120m Saudi Bid as Club Plans New 2029 Contract

Turkish champions Galatasaray have reportedly received a €120 million offer from an unnamed Saudi Arabian club for Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, amid growing interest in the prolific forward.

According to Turkish transfer insider Serhan Türk, Galatasaray are currently considering two separate offers worth €120 million for the Nigerian international. One proposal is believed to have come from a European club, while the other originated from Saudi Arabia. The identity of the Saudi club has not been made public.

The latest development follows earlier reports linking Atlético Madrid with a potential €120 million move for Osimhen. Another unnamed European side was also said to have submitted a verbal offer valued at €125 million.

Despite the increasing transfer interest, Galatasaray are reportedly unwilling to part ways with the 26-year-old striker. Club president Dursun Özbek is said to value Osimhen at €150 million and is determined to keep the Nigerian star in Istanbul.

Rather than entertaining offers, the Turkish Süper Lig champions are working on a new long-term contract that would keep Osimhen at the club until 2029. The proposed deal is expected to include a substantial salary increase as part of the club’s efforts to secure his future.

Galatasaray are also reportedly considering naming Osimhen as the team’s new captain, with current skipper Mauro Icardi expected to leave the club.

Osimhen enjoyed an impressive campaign, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions. His performances played a key role in helping Galatasaray retain the Turkish Süper Lig title and further strengthened his reputation as one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers.
