Nigerian rapper and songwriter Jesse Garba Abaga, popularly known as Jesse Jagz, has questioned Nigeria’s healthcare priorities with a claim about the number of political campaign buses operating in Abuja.
The rapper made the comment in a post on his X account on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
“Abuja has more campaign buses than Nigeria has ambulances. Let that sink in,” Jesse Jagz wrote.
His statement appeared to draw attention to the resources deployed for political campaigns compared with emergency medical transportation and healthcare needs across the country.
The comment has sparked discussion online, particularly amid ongoing concerns over healthcare infrastructure, emergency medical services and public spending in Nigeria.
Jesse Jagz, the younger brother of Nigerian rapper M.I Abaga, has remained known for using his social media platforms to comment on social and political issues.
His latest post comes as political parties and politicians intensify preparations for the 2027 general election.
