The hotel manager from Asaba whose private video recently surfaced online has publicly apologised to his wife and both families while accusing some people close to him of deliberately circulating the footage to damage his reputation.
Speaking in a video shared on TikTok, the hotel manager said his apology was directed solely to his wife, his family and his wife’s family, expressing regret over the incident.
He alleged that some of the individuals spreading the video were people he had previously helped, including those who had benefited from his family’s generosity.
According to him, those responsible for sharing the clip would not succeed in destroying what God had built.
“They can’t destroy what God has built,” he said, adding that those who genuinely care about him would continue to support him despite the controversy.
The video has since generated widespread reactions on social media, with many users sharing differing opinions about his apology and the circumstances surrounding the leaked footage.
