Galatasaray are reportedly close to completing the signing of Stuttgart striker Ermedin Demirovic, who is being lined up as a backup for Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen.
Turkish football transfer expert Süleyman Rodop said he expects the deal to be completed within the next one or two days, barring any unexpected development.
“Unless something unexpected happens at Galatasaray, Ermedin Demirovic will be Osimhen’s backup,” Rodop said, according to Habersarikirmizi.
“I think Galatasaray will have finalized the Ermedin Demirovic deal within 1-2 days.”
Demirovic currently plays for Stuttgart and could provide Galatasaray with additional depth in attack as the Turkish champions prepare for a demanding season.
The reported move comes ahead of Galatasaray’s Süper Lig fixture against Erzurumspor on Friday night.
Rodop has also directly posted that he expects Galatasaray to complete the Demirovic deal within one or two days, further indicating that negotiations are at an advanced stage.
The transfer, however, has not yet been officially confirmed by Galatasaray or Stuttgart.
