Gospel singer Neon Adejo has explained how he became involved in the marital crisis between Alicia and photographer David Martins, following allegations of abuse within their marriage.
Adejo said the situation began earlier this year when he attended a conference and was approached by Alicia, who told him she was experiencing difficulties in her marriage.
According to the singer, Alicia became emotional during their conversation and later alleged that she had suffered mental, financial, verbal and emotional abuse from her husband for about three years.

Recounting the encounter, he said, “It was then she began to narrate to me how she’s been mentally, financially, verbally and emotionally abused by her husband for the last three years.”
Adejo said he was particularly shocked after allegedly seeing the photographs Alicia showed him.
“When I saw these, I broke down because I just couldn’t make sense of it,” he recounted.
He added that Alicia’s account prompted him to ask how she had been surviving and what assistance she needed.
The singer said his involvement was initially focused on providing immediate support for Alicia and her child after she allegedly opened up to him about her situation.
