Former Big Brother Naija winner and streamer, Phyna, has accused content creator Ashmusy of allegedly trying to have her removed from a multi-million-naira celebrity boxing deal.
Phyna made the allegation in an Instagram video on Thursday, claiming that a boxing organisation first approached her in February 2026 about participating in a celebrity boxing event.
According to the reality star, the organisers also asked her to recommend other celebrities who could participate in the event.
Phyna said she later suggested Ashmusy as one of the potential participants and connected her with the organisers after being asked to do so.
She alleged that Ashmusy subsequently accepted the deal but later asked the organisers to remove her, claiming she had another person who could replace her.
Phyna said she had been communicating with the organisers for about seven months before introducing Ashmusy to them.
“Ashmusy, you’re evil. A company reached out to me in February that I should come and fight a Ghanaian.”
Phyna explained that the proposed opponent had initially been involved in the planned event but later became unavailable because she had a wedding scheduled for the same day.
She said the organisers subsequently asked her to help recommend other celebrities who could take part in the event.
“It was as if I was part of the organisers because they called me to help reach out to so-and-so person. So I was just contributing and giving names of people that I think they should reach out to.”
Phyna said she eventually suggested Ashmusy to the organisers on August 19, 2026, after which she was asked to contact the content creator.
According to Phyna, she spoke with Ashmusy and later connected her directly with the organisers through a three-way call.
She alleged that Ashmusy asked for the organisers’ contact details and subsequently accepted the proposed deal.
However, Phyna claimed that Ashmusy stopped responding to her calls and messages after the agreement was reached.
The reality star then accused Ashmusy of allegedly contacting the organisers and asking them to remove her from the deal.
“Now, do you know that since a day before yesterday, Ashmusy has been telling the organiser to drop me, that she has a better person to replace me.”
Phyna said she was particularly upset because she claimed to have been dealing with the organisers for months before bringing Ashmusy into the arrangement.
“Me that have been talking to this company for seven months since February. I was the one who brought Ashmusy in last week.”
She accused the content creator of attempting to take away an opportunity she had helped create.
“You dey comot food for my mouth, Ashmusy; you are a bad person. You dey tell them say make them remove person wey bring job for you.”
Phyna also described Ashmusy as “evil” and made a further allegation against her character.
The claims have not been independently established, and Ashmusy had not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of publication.
The dispute comes amid growing interest in celebrity boxing events involving Nigerian entertainers and influencers. Phyna’s latest comments are based on her account of the negotiations and alleged communication between herself, Ashmusy and the unnamed boxing organisers. The outcome of the dispute and whether the proposed boxing deal will proceed with either creator remains unclear.
