VeryDarkMan Breaks Silence on Mohbad Investigation, Explains Why He Has Stayed Quiet

Nigerian social media activist VeryDarkMan has said he has not abandoned efforts to follow developments surrounding the death of singer Mohbad, despite his recent silence on the matter.

In a recent Instagram post, the activist referenced the long-running investigation into the death of American rapper Tupac Shakur, noting that authorities continued pursuing the case years after the rapper’s death.

VeryDarkMan said he was taking a similar approach to Mohbad’s case and had continued watching developments even though he had not been speaking publicly about it.

He wrote:

“In between they thought I moved on from the Mohbad’s case. I didn’t. I was watching…….. 2Pac was unalive in the same month as Mohbad and after 30 years they found the people that unalived him, we dey follow the case…..”

VeryDarkMan also used the post to address his recent involvement in the public dispute involving former P-Square members Peter Okoye, Paul Okoye and Jude Okoye.

The activist expressed displeasure with Peter, accusing him of attempting to use him against his brothers during the family dispute.

According to VeryDarkMan, he was relieved that he did not publish a particular video he had considered making about the matter after he later became aware of another side of the dispute.

He said:

“And as for Peter, I won’t forgive you for trying to use me against your brothers. I would have hated myself if I had made that video that day and later found out their side of the story….. I’m happy where I stand…. you and con artist…”

VeryDarkMan’s latest comments come after he recently announced his withdrawal from the P-Square family dispute following criticism over his involvement.

The activist had previously defended Jude Okoye and questioned some of the allegations made by Peter, but later said he would no longer take an active position in the ongoing family controversy.

His latest statement, however, indicates that he intends to continue paying attention to developments surrounding Mohbad’s death, even if he does not publicly comment on every development.
