Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Whitney Chukwu, popularly known as Nomy, has been disqualified from the reality show following repeated violations of the programme’s rules.
The 27-year-old fashion entrepreneur was removed from the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house on Monday after Big Brother cited her continued disregard for instructions and repeated defiance of the rules governing the competition.
Big Brother announced the decision during a house session, telling Nomy that her conduct had reached a point where her participation in the competition could no longer continue.
One of the incidents cited was her failure to comply with instructions while serving as this week’s bench warmer.
Nomy reportedly left behind her assigned bench and vest despite instructions relating to the role.
Big Brother subsequently informed her that her “privilege to participate in the game has been revoked” and directed her to leave the house immediately.
Her disqualification means she will not continue competing for the season’s ₦160 million grand prize.
Nomy, who is from Anambra State, entered the competition as a fashion entrepreneur and had hoped to remain in the house until the final stages of the season.
Her time in the house was also marked by tension with some of the other contestants. Some housemates had previously complained about her attitude and interactions with them.
Unlike a regular eviction, Nomy’s exit was a disqualification imposed by Big Brother, meaning the decision was based on her conduct and alleged rule violations rather than the normal viewer-driven eviction process.
Her departure comes shortly after Gerard was evicted from the competition on Sunday, reducing the number of contestants remaining in the house.
The latest development adds another dramatic turn to the 2026 edition of Big Brother Naija as the remaining housemates continue their battle for the ₦160 million prize.
