Nigerian comedian and content creator Broda Shaggi has returned to social media after months away from the public eye, following a shooting incident reportedly involving him in Ogun State.
The skit maker, whose real name is Samuel Perry, had been largely absent from social media since March 2026, when reports emerged that he had been shot while filming at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State.
The incident became public on March 13, prompting concern among fans and followers who were left wondering about his condition and whereabouts.
The Lagos State Police Command reportedly confirmed that the incident had been reported by a private hospital in the Alakuko area, where the entertainer was initially taken for treatment.
Broda Shaggi broke his silence in an emotional video shared on his Instagram page late Tuesday, in which he revealed that the shooting occurred on March 9, 2026.
Describing the incident as “a day in my life I wished never happened,” the comedian shared a brief clip showing him being rushed to a hospital with an apparent gunshot injury and blood stains.
His return marks his first major public update since the incident became widely reported earlier this year.
The entertainer also indicated that he would provide more details about what happened, telling his followers that he planned to address the public on Wednesday.
His announcement has renewed interest in the circumstances surrounding the shooting, although details about who was responsible and what led to the incident have not been established in the information available.
