Lizzy Anjorin Demands N50m Each From Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla and Over 100 Bloggers Over Alleged Defamation

Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin Lawal has issued a cease-and-desist notice to her colleague, Iyabo Ojo, her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, and more than 100 bloggers and social media personalities over alleged defamation and cyberbullying.

The legal notice, dated October 3, 2026, was issued through Anjorin’s lawyers, A.U. Enahoro, Bayo Akinlade and A.U.E. Ogboi.

The legal team demanded that the affected individuals immediately remove all content allegedly defaming the actress, publish a retraction and issue a public apology.

Anjorin is also seeking N50 million in damages from each individual or platform involved if they fail to comply with the demands within seven days of receiving the notice.

According to the actress’s legal representatives, the affected parties allegedly circulated false and malicious claims about Anjorin, her family and her businesses across social media platforms.

The lawyers accused some of the recipients of using the alleged publications to attract online traffic and generate revenue through platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

The legal team further alleged that some individuals made criminal accusations against the actress during live broadcasts without presenting supporting police reports or court judgments.

The lawyers maintained that the alleged publications had harmed their client’s reputation and demanded that the content be taken down.

The notice names Iyabo Ojo and Priscilla Ojo among those addressed, alongside more than 100 bloggers and other social media personalities.

However, the allegations contained in the legal notice have not been independently established. The notice itself does not amount to a court judgment, and the demands remain subject to the recipients’ responses and any subsequent legal proceedings.

As of the information available in the notice, there was no response from Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo or the other named recipients regarding the allegations or the demands for retraction, apology and damages.
