Blessing CEO Mourns Late Son Bryan in Emotional Tribute: ‘I Will Never Recover’

Nigerian relationship influencer Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has shared an emotional tribute to her late nine-year-old son, Bryan, describing his death as a loss she may never fully recover from.

The social media personality expressed her grief in a post on Instagram on Sunday, November 1, reflecting on the memories they shared and the gifts she had promised to buy him before his death.

Blessing CEO disclosed that she had eventually purchased an iPad and a bicycle she had promised her son, but the presents could no longer be given to him.

“I will keep living in denial, I miss you, bought the iPad I promised you, and also the bicycle,” she wrote.

She also recalled how Bryan would have waited for her to return home, expressing the emptiness she now feels in his absence.

“You would have waited for mummy to come back …” she added.

Remembering her son’s personality, Blessing described him as a kind, confident and intelligent child whose qualities would remain part of her memories.

“This is how I will forever remember you.

“Selfless, kind, outspoken, bold and very intelligent,” she wrote.

The influencer said she believed Bryan was in heaven and promised to carry his memory wherever life takes her.

“I know you are in Heaven, but I promise to carry your memories everywhere I go,” she added.

She further described the difficulty of accepting his death, referring to him as her guardian angel and expressing how much she missed him.

“I miss you my baby, I will never recover from this shock.

“Rest on my guardian angel. Bryan.

“Sleep well my Dum Dum, mummy loves and miss you.

“Everywhere is so cold and quiet,” she wrote.

The tribute comes days after Blessing CEO spoke about her son’s death during an emotional interview following her release from custody.

During the interview, she disclosed that Bryan had reportedly dreamt about his own death and shared the experience with his elder brother, Darell, her younger sister, Precious, and her father. She said she only learnt about the dream after her son’s death.

She also spoke about his health challenges, revealing that he had been managing asthma and relied on two inhalers while she was in custody.

According to her account, she was informed that Bryan died at a hospital at about 6:30 a.m. on a Monday.

Reflecting on the circumstances surrounding her release, Blessing said the news of her son’s death overshadowed what should have been a joyful return home.

“I didn’t come out to the best of news. I didn’t come out excited because I lost something I couldn’t get back,” she said.

She also acknowledged struggling with guilt over the loss but said she was trying to find the strength to move forward and live in a way that would make her son proud.

“I came out knowing that wherever my son is, he wants to be proud of his mother,” she added.

Blessing CEO was released on bail in October after spending months in custody over separate fraud-related cases. The legal proceedings remain ongoing, and her release on bail does not amount to an acquittal.

Her latest tribute has offered another glimpse into her grief as she continues to remember her son publicly.
