Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo Alleges Horrific Attacks by Stranded Muslims in Plateau State

Barkin Ladi, Plateau State – The Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has shared a chilling account of attacks allegedly committed by some Muslim individuals he had previously sheltered.

In a video posted by Equipping the Persecuted on X (formerly Twitter), Rev. Dachomo explained that he had shown compassion to stranded Muslims, providing them food and accommodation. Shockingly, he claimed they later retaliated violently, killing his grandmother and removing her heart.

Rev. Dachomo recounted, “I bought foodstuffs with my money to feed them in my house… and these same people killed my grandmother and removed her heart. They also killed my uncle, removing his tongue, and burned my best friend, his wife, and their five children.”

He further alleged that the community has repeatedly suffered attacks despite efforts to live peacefully with their Muslim neighbors. “Why is it that Christians are always ready to supply peace while Muslims are not? Even on my land, they have grabbed territory. We have been silent for too long, and we will not keep silent again,” he said.

Rev. Dachomo appealed to the Senate Committee to intervene, emphasizing the need for security and the restoration of lands allegedly taken by terrorists. He also condemned international narratives denying the ongoing violence in Plateau State.

The video has reignited discussions online about communal violence, religious tensions, and the urgent need for security interventions in Plateau State.
