Kogi Man Arrested by His Father After Saying He Can “Sacrifice His Parents for APC” in Viral Video

A young man in Kogi State has reportedly been arrested by his own father after a controversial video in which he claimed he could “sacrifice his parents for the All Progressives Congress (APC)” went viral online.

The young man, identified on social media as Mc Isa Aha, had posted the clip earlier this week, sparking widespread outrage.

Video Sparks Public Anger

The video spread rapidly across social media, drawing strong condemnation from Nigerians who described the statement as disturbing, reckless, and unacceptable.

While some viewers argued that the young man was likely joking or trying to trend online, many insisted that such comments should not be treated lightly, especially given Nigeria’s tense political climate.

Father Steps In

According to a post shared by a close friend of Mc Isa Aha, his father took action after seeing the viral clip and reportedly had him arrested on Tuesday evening.

The friend wrote:

“Mc Isa Aha was arrested by his father this evening about the video he was dropping since that he can sacrifice his parent for APC.
Please my good people, I want us to beg his father to release my friend. It is a mistake and it would never repeat itself again.”

The post also appealed to the public to beg the father to forgive him, describing the incident as a mistake that would not happen again.
