BBNaija Season 11 Premieres July 26 As Winner Set To Receive Record ₦160 Million Prize

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) is set to return for its 11th season as MultiChoice Nigeria has confirmed that the reality television show will premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

The announcement was made during a press conference on Wednesday, where organisers also unveiled a record-breaking ₦160 million grand prize, making it the biggest reward in the show’s history since it debuted in 2006.

According to the organisers, the winner will receive ₦100 million in cash alongside a brand-new SUV, with the total prize package valued at ₦160 million.

Speaking on the new season, Atinuke Babatunde, Executive Head of Content and Channels, West Africa, MultiChoice, said the show would raise the bar once again with fresh housemates and new twists.

“Big Brother Naija has consistently redefined African entertainment by bringing together authentic storytelling, compelling personalities and moments that resonate with millions of viewers.

“Season 11 builds on that legacy with even bigger stakes, fresh twists and an exciting mix of housemates that will keep audiences engaged from premiere night through to the finale,” she said.

The opening ceremony will air from 7:00 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family, while fans can follow the 24-hour live broadcast on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49.

Viewers will also be able to stream the show live through the DStv Stream and GOtv Stream platforms.

Ahead of the new season, aspiring contestants underwent physical auditions held between May 22 and 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.

The auditions were free and open to Nigerians aged 21 years and above with valid means of identification.

The upcoming edition follows the success of Season 10, which concluded on October 5, 2025, with Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, emerging as the winner.

Imisi defeated 28 other housemates to claim the ₦150 million grand prize, which included ₦80 million in cash and a brand-new SUV.

With a record prize at stake, expectations are high as BBNaija prepares to kick off another season of entertainment, competition and drama.
