Bwala Raises Alarm Over Possible Terrorist Agents Within Nigerian Security Forces

President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has suggested that agents linked to terrorist groups may have infiltrated Nigeria’s security agencies.

Bwala made the remark on The Link Up Podcast hosted by EchoRoom while responding to a question on whether the military had been infiltrated by terrorists.

According to him, previous arrests of soldiers and police officers over alleged links to terrorism show that such possibilities cannot be completely ruled out.

“Our police have always been arrested, and soldiers arrested involved in this kind of thing,” Bwala said.

“This will happen anywhere in the world. Snowden was a contractor to the US national security. These are elements that can happen.”

He added that the government is taking measures to address security concerns but declined to provide details.

“You cannot rule out the facts that they may have one or two agents in the army, anywhere else,” he said.
