Edo Government Demolishes Uromi House Over Alleged Organ Harvesting, Ritual Activities

The Edo State Government has demolished a bungalow and boys’ quarters in Uwalor-Oke, Uromi, allegedly used by a 40-year-old man, identified as Ebhata Eromosele, for organ harvesting and ritual activities.

According to the state government, investigations linked the property to the alleged harvesting of organs from three young women. One of the victims, who was pregnant, reportedly died during the incident.

The government said another victim, who was hospitalised following the incident, had been discharged, while the third victim was still receiving medical treatment at an undisclosed hospital in the Esan Central Senatorial District.

Amiolemen Idemudia, coordinator of the Edo State Special Security Squad, Operation Flush Out Kidnapping and Cultists, disclosed the details while speaking to journalists.

Idemudia explained that security operatives traced a body that had allegedly been killed and dumped to the bungalow believed to have been used by the suspect.

He added that a search of the property uncovered bloodstained bedspreads and other items that investigators considered evidence of suspected ritual activities and organ harvesting.

The security coordinator said the findings raised suspicions about Eromosele’s alleged involvement in the activities.

The demolition forms part of the state government’s security response to the alleged criminal activities linked to the property.

However, the allegations against Eromosele remain subject to investigation and due legal process.
