Former Big Brother Naija winner, Mercy Eke, has revealed that she regrets participating in the reality show despite the success and opportunities it brought her.
The reality TV star made the disclosure during an emotional conversation with media personality Toke Makinwa while reflecting on her love life and struggles to find a life partner after gaining fame.
According to Mercy, her celebrity status has complicated her search for marriage, while financial imbalance has been a recurring issue in some of her relationships.
“I regret going to Big Brother even though I love the benefits that come from it. I dey fall in love like mumu, now I said to myself that I want to marry, I want to marry but it’s not easy,” she said.
The BBNaija star also disclosed that she had financially supported some of the men she dated.
“I have dated guys that I have given a lot of money to, not one not two, because they don’t have,” she added.
Mercy, who made history as the first female winner of Big Brother Naija, did not reveal the identities of the former partners she referred to during the interview.
