Popular TikToker and streamer Peller and his partner, Jarvis, have officially become husband and wife after completing their court wedding, just days after holding their traditional marriage ceremony.
Photos and videos circulating on social media show the couple dressed in matching white outfits while proudly displaying their marriage certificate, confirming that they are now legally married.
The civil ceremony comes shortly after Peller announced on Tuesday that he and Jarvis would be holding their court wedding on Wednesday, a development that has now been confirmed through videos and photographs shared online.
Following the ceremony, congratulatory messages poured in across social media, while others shared differing opinions about the couple’s decision to marry.
One user, Homer, congratulated the newlyweds and criticised those leaving negative comments.
“The frustrated Nigerians in the comment section that have never see nothing good and beautiful like this in the life are crying in cs already congratulations cant come from dem because sow is the thing dey only no in there life sow people make una cry well.”
Another user, Girlrepublik, wished the couple well but expressed concern about the long-term future of the marriage.
“Hoping she doesn’t wake up one day after 25 and is so confused as to why she’s in this marriage. Happy married life to those who celebrate.”
Dani also shared a sceptical opinion about the relationship, while OTH commented on legal property rights in Nigerian marriages.
On a more positive note, Nico4u prayed for the couple’s lasting happiness.
“Oo it’s a good thingoo I pray the stay together forever. Most flourishing marriages happen when the woman is more mature and older than the man. Prove me wrong.”
Similarly, Mekun urged Nigerians to celebrate the couple instead of spreading negativity.
