Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal have reportedly entered the race to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen as they consider changes to their attacking options during the summer transfer window.
The Saudi Pro League side are said to be monitoring Osimhen’s situation at Galatasaray, with the Nigerian international emerging as a potential replacement for former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
According to Sky Sport Switzerland, Al Hilal are interested in pursuing a deal for Osimhen and could make a move before the transfer window closes.
Osimhen has maintained an impressive goalscoring record since joining Galatasaray, registering 59 goals and 16 assists in 74 appearances across all competitions.
His performances have continued to attract interest from clubs outside Turkey, renewing speculation about whether he could leave Rams Park ahead of the new season.
Galatasaray are reportedly willing to consider offers for the 27-year-old striker and have placed his valuation at approximately €65 million.
Al Hilal are said to view Osimhen as a suitable option to lead their attack if they succeed in moving Benzema out of their squad.
However, any potential transfer would depend heavily on Osimhen’s willingness to continue his career in Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi club would therefore need to reach an agreement with Galatasaray and convince the Super Eagles forward to accept the move.
