Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemates Martins and Mercedes have been evicted from the reality television show, bringing their respective journeys in the competition to an end.
Their eviction was announced by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during Sunday night’s live eviction show.
Martins became the first housemate to leave the Big Brother Naija house during the eviction proceedings, with Mercedes following shortly afterwards.
Their departure leaves 22 housemates in the competition alongside two Gambits who currently enjoy immunity from eviction.
The remaining contestants will continue competing for the ₦160 million grand prize as the competition enters another stage.
Martins and Mercedes’ eviction comes as the pressure increases on contestants seeking to secure their places in the house and avoid elimination during subsequent eviction rounds.
Season 11 has continued to feature several twists, including secret missions and the Gambit roles, adding another layer of uncertainty to the competition.
With two more contestants now out of the race, attention will shift to the remaining housemates and the next round of nominations and evictions.
The season will ultimately produce one winner who will walk away with the ₦160 million grand prize.
