The long-running feud between Nigerian rappers Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck has taken a new turn, with personal accusations, sexual abuse allegations and legal action now surrounding the dispute.
The two rappers were previously close and collaborated on music before their relationship deteriorated. According to Blaqbonez, the disagreement began after both men became involved with the same woman in 2023.
Blaqbonez recently explained that he and the woman had what he described as a “friends with benefits” relationship and said he was unaware that she was also involved with Odumodublvck.
He claimed that Odumodublvck later confronted him after discovering the situation. Blaqbonez said he chose not to disclose the full details because he did not want to damage their relationship, but Odumodublvck subsequently declared him an enemy.
The dispute later spilled onto social media, with both rappers exchanging accusations and releasing statements that suggested their disagreement went beyond music.
The situation became more serious in June 2026 when Odumodublvck publicly accused Blaqbonez of sexual abuse and alleged that people within the Nigerian music industry were attempting to cover up the matter.
Blaqbonez denied the allegations, describing them as harassment and intimidation. He maintained that the claims were connected to a past personal relationship and rejected any suggestion that he had sexually abused anyone.
His lawyers subsequently filed a ₦2.55 billion lawsuit against Odumodublvck over alleged defamation and harassment.
The dispute took another turn in August after the woman at the centre of the controversy publicly addressed the matter.
Identified as Fejiro Onohwosa, and also referred to as Bantu in some online posts, she accused Blaqbonez of harassment, cyberstalking, threats and the alleged non-consensual distribution of private video content.
She said she had previously issued cease-and-desist letters and filed a police petition in 2024. She also indicated that she intended to pursue legal action against the rapper.
Blaqbonez has continued to deny wrongdoing and challenged the allegations, calling for evidence to support the claims.
The rapper also maintained that he had remained silent about the matter for about two years while dealing with the situation privately.
The controversy has now moved beyond a conventional rap feud, with Blaqbonez facing allegations from the woman involved, while also pursuing legal action against Odumodublvck over statements made against him.
