Cynthia Morgan Defends Peter Okoye Amid Backlash Over Clash With His Brothers

Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan has reached out to Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, amid his ongoing dispute with his brothers, Paul Okoye and Jude Okoye.

In a post shared on her Instagram page on Friday morning, Cynthia offered prayers for Peter, saying she hoped he would find “healing and salvation” as the disagreement within the Okoye family continues to attract public attention.

Her message also addressed social media users who have accused Peter of being destructive because of his handling of the dispute.

According to Cynthia, people may sometimes misunderstand the behaviour of artistes who have endured difficult situations for extended periods.

She argued that some entertainers reach a point where they become emotionally exhausted and can no longer continue pretending that everything is fine.

Cynthia suggested that such experiences could affect how an artiste behaves publicly, adding that professional therapy may be necessary before the person can properly process what they have experienced.

Her intervention comes as Peter remains embroiled in a public dispute involving his twin brother Paul and their elder brother and former manager, Jude.

The disagreement has generated significant debate online, with different personalities weighing in on the circumstances surrounding the latest crisis involving the former Psquare members.

Cynthia Morgan’s involvement has also attracted attention because of her own previous public disagreements with Jude over her former record deal and music career.

Rather than directly attacking any of the brothers in her latest message, however, Cynthia focused on Peter’s wellbeing and urged people to consider what an artiste may have experienced before judging their reactions.
