Music executive Dapper Damm has broken his silence over allegations of unpaid funds made by former artistes including Seyi Vibez and Shallipopi.
The music executive addressed the controversy in a series of posts on X, saying records relating to the allegations exist and have already been submitted to the relevant authorities.
“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth,” Dapper wrote.
His response comes after several former artistes publicly accused him of withholding money they claimed was owed to them.
Shallipopi recently alleged that more than $1 million belonging to him was still in Dapper’s possession, while Seyi Vibez has also made a series of cryptic posts targeting his former label amid the controversy.
Dapper accused those making the allegations of pushing what he described as false narratives aimed at misleading the public.
He also rejected suggestions that artistes were forced to remain with or leave his label.
“You chose to leave! No one forced you, and we are still fine without you! Move on! Stop acting obsessed!!!!!” he said.
In another post, Dapper indicated that he had more to say but would avoid responding to the allegations with insults because of his commitment to music.
“So much to say, but so few ways to say it,” he wrote.
