Videos circulating on social media have sparked reactions following an incident involving Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, at a nightclub in Abuja on Friday night, August 7.
The incident reportedly occurred at the grand opening of 90s Lounge, where 2Baba had been billed to perform alongside activities surrounding the launch.
Footage shared online showed Natasha dressed entirely in black and surrounded by several men outside the venue as a commotion unfolded.
Another clip appeared to show 2Baba, wearing a bucket hat, coming outside the venue before accompanying Natasha into the club.
She was subsequently seen sitting beside the singer inside the lounge.
An individual claiming to have witnessed the incident has now shared an account of what allegedly happened before the videos were recorded.
According to the eyewitness, Natasha arrived at the Abuja club with an entourage after allegedly discovering that her husband was at the venue.
The eyewitness claimed that she initially encountered difficulty gaining access to 2Baba and repeatedly demanded to see him.
“I am your wife. My husband 2Baba is here,” she allegedly shouted during the confrontation.
The witness further alleged that 2Baba and Natasha had not been on good terms for some time and claimed she had experienced difficulty contacting the singer before learning about his presence at the club.
According to the account, Natasha subsequently went to the venue, leading to the commotion captured in videos that have since circulated online.
2Baba eventually came outside and appeared to intervene before taking Natasha into the lounge with him.
The videos have generated widespread discussion on social media, with users offering different interpretations of the couple’s interaction.
However, claims concerning what allegedly happened between 2Baba and Natasha before she arrived at the venue are based on the eyewitness account and have not been independently verified.
