Man Claiming to Be P-Square’s Neighbour Shares Experience Amid Peter, Paul Okoye Rift

A man who claims to be a neighbour of Nigerian music stars Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P-Square, has shared his experience amid the renewed public dispute involving the twin brothers.

The man, identified on X as @DirectorBello, said he had been unaware of the extent of the disagreement between the brothers despite reportedly living close to them.

His reaction followed the recent social media exchanges surrounding Peter and Paul, which have brought their long-running family and professional disagreements back into public discussion.

According to @DirectorBello, whenever he encountered the brothers around their residence, he would wave at them and remember some of the songs that defined his teenage years.

He jokingly suggested that his excitement whenever he saw the music stars may unknowingly have irritated Peter.

“All this while being Psquare’s neighbor I never noticed any drama happening, teenage me was waving at them and dancing Alingo whenever I saw them by their gate, so I was adding to Peter’s anger.”

His post has since attracted attention online as Nigerians continue to discuss the latest developments involving the Okoye brothers.

P-Square, comprising identical twins Peter and Paul Okoye, rose to become one of Nigeria’s most successful music groups, building a catalogue of hit songs and gaining a large following across Africa.

The brothers eventually separated in 2017 following years of disagreements involving their music business and family.

They reconciled publicly in 2021, raising hopes among fans that the disputes that had divided them had been resolved.

However, tensions later resurfaced, with Peter, Paul and their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, becoming involved in another highly publicised dispute.

The latest exchanges have prompted reactions from entertainers, fans and other public figures, with many calling for the brothers to resolve their differences.
