Reality TV star Phyna has made fresh allegations about the relationship between former BBNaija housemates Bella Okagbue and Sheggz, claiming that Sheggz physically assaulted Bella whenever she went out with her friends.
Phyna made the claims in a video circulating online amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the former couple, who recently confirmed that their relationship had ended.
According to Phyna, Bella was allegedly subjected to physical abuse after spending time with her friends.
“Anytime Bella goes out with her friends, when she reach house, he beats her up for hanging out with a friend. How many times I see you for club with babes? Why are you using what you do for this babe to attack her?” Phyna said.
She also recounted an incident she claimed occurred when she spent a night at Bella’s residence.
According to Phyna, she heard a noise and went to check on Bella, whom she said was crying. She alleged that Bella initially denied being beaten by Sheggz.
Phyna claimed Bella later told her that Sheggz had allegedly assaulted her because she allowed Phyna to spend the night at their home.
“I go sleep for Bella side one night. I heard noise and went to check on Bella. Naso Bella come out dey cry. I ask her if he dey beat her. She say no. Na now Bella dey tell me say, he beat her that night. Say why she allow me sleep for their house?” she added.
Phyna also dismissed an alleged private WhatsApp conversation that had circulated online and purportedly suggested that Bella cheated on Sheggz.
The latest allegations have added another layer to the controversy surrounding the former couple, whose relationship began during their time on BBNaija and continued after the reality show.
Sheggz has previously denied allegations of abuse. He is yet to publicly respond to Phyna’s latest claims.
