Cubana Chief Priest Reacts as Solomon Buchi Reports Peller to UK Police

Nigerian businessman and socialite Cubana Chief Priest has waded into the ongoing dispute between TikTok streamer Habeeb “Peller” Olalomi and relationship commentator Solomon Buchi.

The controversy escalated after Buchi said he had reported Peller to the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdomover remarks made during a livestream in which Peller referred to a man identified as “Mr Buchi” and alleged that he had slept with another man’s wife.

Peller later clarified that he was not referring to Solomon Buchi, claiming that his comments were directed at a fan named Buchi with whom he had previously had an online exchange.

Buchi, however, had identified himself as the subject of the allegation and strongly rejected the claim.

He said the allegation that he cheated on his wife with another man’s wife was false and had seriously affected his wellbeing.

“Peller made a deeply damaging and false accusation that I cheated on my wife with another man’s wife. This allegation has severely affected my mental health and caused me to suffer a nervous breakdown, which has been documented by my GP.”

Buchi also said he had reported the matter to the Metropolitan Police because Peller was in the UK.

The reported police complaint has not been independently confirmed by the Metropolitan Police publicly.

Cubana Chief Priest reacts

Amid the dispute, Cubana Chief Priest criticised Buchi’s decision to involve the police, suggesting that the relationship commentator was using the controversy to generate attention and engagement.

In a social media post, the businessman wrote:

“You no go fit do anything this one na content you still dey do, you dey find engagement. You know the rubbish wey you don talk about the boy & others you wan call police small yansh dey shake. I go send lawyers like shooters.”

Cubana Chief Priest’s comment appears to be a public show of support for Peller, while also warning that legal action could be taken against people involved in the dispute.

His intervention adds another prominent Nigerian personality to a controversy that began with a disputed reference to an unnamed “Mr Buchi”.

Peller’s subsequent clarification has also complicated the original allegation. He insists that Solomon Buchi was not the person he meant, although the identity of the other “Mr Buchi” has not been independently established publicly.

Buchi has maintained that the allegation referred to him and said he took the matter seriously enough to involve the UK police.

At this stage, there are therefore two competing accounts. Peller says he was referring to another person, while Buchi believes the statement targeted him and his marriage.
