Evangelist Linda Paul Rika has sparked reactions online after sharing what she described as a disturbing spiritual revelation in which several prominent pastors and ministers allegedly appeared crying and facing divine judgment.
Rika recounted the experience in a video circulating on social media, where she claimed to have seen Pastor Paul Enenche, Bishop David Oyedepo, the late Evangelist Uma Ukpai and several other ministers.
The evangelist said she initially did not recognise one of the men she saw during the alleged revelation. According to her, she later searched YouTube after waking up and identified the person as the late Evangelist Uma Ukpai.
Rika also claimed she saw Paul Enenche and his wife, whom she said were both wearing red clothing.
According to her account, the scene included bishops wearing their traditional caps, pastors and other ministers from different backgrounds. She alleged that many of them were crying.
Rika claimed that Enenche appeared to question the value of the knowledge of truth he had acquired during his lifetime.
She attributed the following words to him:
“What has it profit me now? I know the truth, but I decided to follow worldly pleasure of him. Why did I allow the glory of this world to sweeten my mouth and blindfold me?”
Rika further claimed that Enenche allegedly said he had spoken about heaven publicly but had not allowed his mind to remain focused on it.
She said his wife was also crying and that the two were eventually seen in a state of deep distress.
Rika also described what she said was a large gathering of people waiting for judgment.
According to her account, millions of people were present and were being told to wait because their individual books would soon be opened.
She claimed that Bishop David Oyedepo was also among those she saw.
Rika said Oyedepo appeared to bow his head and cry, allegedly saying:
“It was too hard for me to come out. Lord, you know, it was too hard for me.”
She said she could not understand everything he was allegedly saying but repeatedly heard the statement about how difficult it had been for him to come out.
The evangelist also described an unnamed minister whom she said had become prominent on the internet through his prayer activities.
Rika claimed the man was crying and rolling on the ground while allegedly confessing secret sins and asking God for mercy.
She attributed the following words to him:
“God, because of fame, because of money, oh God, have mercy on me.”
Rika said the alleged revelation involved ministers from different countries and racial backgrounds, with many of them crying over what she described as the consequences of their actions.
She further claimed that the scene involved judgment for various sins, including lying, masturbation and other forms of wrongdoing.
According to Rika, the revelation was intended to communicate that people who considered themselves spiritually upright could still have what she described as “little foxes” in their lives.
She said the scene reminded her of a massive burial, with people crying throughout the gathering.
Rika also spoke about a man she referred to as “Omokpa”, saying she had previously heard testimonies about him after his death.
She said she had questioned why people described him as an anointed person and whether such anointing necessarily meant that someone was spiritually secure.
According to Rika, the answer she received during the alleged revelation was:
“He chose anointing, rather than holiness. An anointing cannot take anybody to heaven.”
She said the message she took from the experience was that holiness, rather than anointing, was what would ultimately matter in a person’s spiritual life.
Rika further claimed that the man had known about holiness but had chosen what she described as the path of anointing.
She attributed another statement to the revelation:
“That’s why I am telling people, it’s holiness that will save every man, not anointing.”
She also claimed that the alleged revelation showed the man’s disciples and the results of his ministry, describing them as people who had also fallen into sin.
Rika said the man was allegedly crying and shaking his hands, while other ministers were also weeping.
She further claimed that Prophet Jeremiah appeared in the alleged revelation and was crying bitterly alongside other pastors.
Reflecting on the experience, Rika said she initially believed that some of the people she saw had simply refused to listen while they were alive.
However, she said their alleged reactions during the revelation made her believe they had come to recognise what she described as the truth only after it was too late.
“When I saw the way they were crying, I noticed that satan really, oh, these people, they don’t like what they were doing. Oh, they have come, oh, they don’t know this truth.”
She concluded the account by saying:
“But it was too late for them.”
