The public dispute between Nigerian TikToker Habeeb “Peller” and relationship commentator Solomon Buchihas escalated after Buchi denied an allegation of infidelity and said he had reported Peller to the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom.
The development followed remarks made by Peller during a recent livestream in London, where he claimed he had heard that Buchi was “not a good person” and alleged that the relationship commentator had slept with another man’s wife.
Peller, however, did not identify the person who allegedly told him the story and did not provide evidence to substantiate the claim during the livestream.
“I heard your news, I’ve heard your story, Mr Buchi. Someone told me something about Mr Buchi. Someone told me that Mr Buchi is not a good person.”
He added:
“Mr Buchi slept with someone’s wife. They told me his story. Someone told me his story. He’s not a better person.”
Buchi has now responded, describing the allegation as false and deeply damaging.
In a statement shared on his social media page, Buchi said the allegation had seriously affected his wellbeing and claimed that he suffered what he described as a nervous breakdown as a result.
“Peller made a deeply damaging and false accusation that I cheated on my wife with another man’s wife. This allegation has severely affected my mental health and caused me to suffer a nervous breakdown, which has been documented by my GP. I have also reported the matter to the Metropolitan Police, as he is currently in the UK.”
The dispute is particularly notable because Buchi had previously commented publicly on Peller’s relationship with fellow TikTok personality Jarvis.
Ahead of their August 2026 wedding, Buchi advised the couple to approach marriage with maturity and seek counselling. He said marriage was more serious than social media content and urged them to resolve any existing resentment before getting married.
Buchi’s earlier comments attracted attention because of his reputation for offering opinions on relationships, marriage and family matters. The latest allegation therefore directly challenges the public image associated with his commentary.
Peller and Jarvis subsequently went ahead with their wedding and later travelled to the United Kingdom.
The latest controversy began after Peller referred to information he claimed to have received from another person. Because he did not identify the alleged source or present supporting evidence, the claim that Buchi had an affair with another man’s wife remains an allegation and has not been independently established.
Buchi has categorically denied the allegation.
His decision to say he has involved the UK police has also shifted the dispute beyond the usual social media exchange. Peller is currently in the UK, according to Buchi’s statement, meaning any police involvement would fall within the jurisdiction of British authorities.
For now, the two sides have presented opposing accounts. Peller has made the allegation, while Buchi has denied it and says he has reported the matter to the police. There is no independent evidence publicly establishing that Buchi had an affair with another man’s wife.
