Former BBNaija housemate Nomsy has opened up about her experience on the reality show, saying her time in the house left her traumatised following her disqualification.
Speaking during an interview on the WithChude podcast, Nomsy described her exit from the show as unjust and questioned the circumstances surrounding her removal.
According to the reality star, housemates are typically required to receive three strikes before facing disqualification, but she claimed she had only received one strike before she was removed from the competition.
“I don’t know who GehGeh or Peller are, never heard of them before. My experiences in the Big Brother house traumatised me. I was unjustly disqualified.”
Nomsy said she believed her treatment was unusual compared with the process she understood to apply to other housemates.
“Normally, what makes people leave the house is disqualification, and to get that you need three strikes. I was on one.”
She further described her experience in the house as being in “enemy territory”, while acknowledging the controversial image she developed during the season.
“I was in the enemy territory, and even though I’m the villain of this season, I’m still the main character.”
Nomsy also claimed that her removal was unprecedented in the history of Big Brother Naija, describing it as the first occasion on which a housemate had been “revoked”.
Her comments come as she reflects on her controversial exit from the reality show and the experience she says affected her personally.
Nomsy also dismissed suggestions that she was familiar with social media personalities GehGeh and Peller, insisting that she had never heard of either of them before participating in the reality show.
