A Nigerian lady, Priscilla Kaduna, has recounted how she discovered that her former boyfriend had participated in a wedding introduction ceremony with another woman just a day after ending their relationship.
Priscilla shared her experience in a Facebook post on Monday, alleging that her ex-boyfriend had deliberately picked a fight with her and made several accusations before breaking up with her.
According to her, she was unaware that the argument might have been a way for him to end their relationship while preparing to marry another woman.
She explained that she spent time trying to defend herself against his accusations and became emotional before he eventually left.
Priscilla said her suspicions were confirmed the following day when someone sent her a photograph of her former boyfriend at an introduction ceremony with the woman he had previously described as a family friend.
She alleged that the man had repeatedly denied having a romantic relationship with the woman, claiming instead that his family wanted him to marry her and that the woman was forcing herself on him.
However, the photograph reportedly showed that the two families had gathered for their wedding introduction.
Priscilla said she confronted her ex-boyfriend with the photograph, but he allegedly insisted that he had not known the event was an introduction ceremony.
According to her account, he claimed that he had been taken to the venue unexpectedly and even swore by his grandmother’s grave to support his explanation.
Reacting to the experience, Priscilla said the incident reinforced her decision to walk away from situations in which people were unwilling to be honest with her.
She also warned that people could become emotionally confused when they repeatedly sought explanations from partners who allegedly manipulated situations or denied obvious facts.
Priscilla added that she preferred to move on rather than continue seeking answers from someone she believed was being dishonest with her.
Her account has brought attention to the emotional challenges that can arise from dishonesty and a lack of transparency in romantic relationships. However, the allegations remain her personal account of the events.
