TikTok Star Peller Appeals for Help as Mercedes-Benz Repair Hits ₦11 Million

Popular TikTok content creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has appealed to fans and supporters for financial assistance to repair his damaged Mercedes-Benz SUV, revealing that the cost of fixing the luxury vehicle has been estimated at ₦11 million.

The social media influencer made the disclosure during a recent live session on TikTok, weeks after he was involved in a controversial road accident in December 2025 that left the vehicle badly damaged and briefly hospitalised him.

₦11 Million Repair Bill

Speaking openly during the livestream, Peller explained that the high repair cost has prevented him from fixing the car so far.

“They told me that fixing my car would cost ₦11 million. I haven’t fixed it yet because the money is too much. I never imagined it would cost this much,” he said.

He added that the incident affected him both emotionally and financially, noting that he recently returned to social media after taking time off to recover.

Appeal to Fans and Supporters

During the live session, the influencer directly appealed to his followers, urging those who are able to support him to contribute toward repairing the vehicle.

“This accident has affected me mentally and financially. If anyone can support me, it will go a long way. I really need help to get my car back on the road,” he said.

Background to the Accident

The crash reportedly occurred along the Lekki–Epe Expressway and attracted nationwide attention after it happened during a live broadcast. The incident sparked widespread reactions across social media platforms.

Authorities, including the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Lagos State Police Command, have since indicated plans to prosecute the streamer over allegations of reckless and distracted driving.

Peller has also issued public apologies to Jarvis’ family and Nigerians, as reactions to his crowdfunding appeal continue to generate debate online.
