Hajiya Asia El-Rufai, one of the wives of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has alleged that she and her co-wife, Aishatou El-Rufai, are being monitored and tracked by unknown individuals.
Asia made the claim in a post shared on her Facebook page, where she expressed concerns about their safety and alleged that their private communications had been compromised.
According to her, both women have noticed activities suggesting they are under surveillance.
She further stated that authorities should be held accountable if anything happens to either of them.
“They are following me and Aisattou. Let the world know that if anything happens to us, the government should explain. Our phones are bugged. Our lives are in danger,” she wrote.
The allegations come amid growing political tensions surrounding former Governor Nasir El-Rufai and ongoing public discussions involving his recent activities.
However, Asia El-Rufai did not provide specific details regarding who she believes is responsible for the alleged surveillance or any evidence supporting the claims.
