Ghanaian YouTuber, Kwadwo Sheldon drags Nigeria (Video)

 

Ghanaian social media personality,  Kwadwo Sheldon, has taken a swipe at Nigeria following the Super Eagles’ failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

 

In a sarcastic jibe, Sheldon questioned how a country struggling with persistent electricity shortages could be expected to feature on football’s biggest stage.

 

“You don’t have electricity, yet you want to go to the World Cup. How would your citizens even watch you?” he mocked, sparking mixed reactions across social media.

 

 

 

 

His comments have added fuel to the already heated rivalry between Ghanaian and Nigerian football fans, with many Nigerians dismissing the remark as banter.

 

Nigeria’s absence from the 2026 World Cup has become a talking point across the continent after the Super Eagles failed to beat DR Congo in the Africa Play-offs finals.
