Doris Ogala Plans Legal Action Against Pastor Chris Okafor Over Alleged Marriage Promise

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has revealed plans to take legal action against popular cleric Pastor Chris Okafor, accusing him of reneging on an alleged promise to marry her and later marrying another woman.

The actress made the disclosure during a live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, where she spoke candidly about her past relationship with the pastor and the events that led to their fallout.

“He Promised Me Marriage”

According to Doris Ogala, her decision to seek legal redress is based on what she described as a firm commitment to marriage, which she claims Pastor Okafor later broke. She insisted that the alleged promise, followed by his marriage to another woman, gives her sufficient grounds to pursue the matter legally.

“I am suing Chris because he promised me marriage and left me for another woman. I have proof and evidence. He will hear from my lawyer very soon,” she said.

Actress Admits Past Mistakes

During the interview, Ogala also addressed questions surrounding her conduct while she was still married to her former husband. She admitted that she engaged in a phone-based romantic relationship with Pastor Okafor at the time, describing it as a mistake she now regrets. However, she maintained that there was no physical relationship between them during that period.

Claims of Evidence

The actress further claimed she is in possession of chat messages, screen recordings, and video materials allegedly showing dates and phone details to support her claims.

Daddy Freeze, however, warned her against releasing such evidence publicly, cautioning that doing so could expose her to legal issues related to privacy laws.

Despite the warning, Ogala maintained that she is fully prepared to proceed legally, noting that her lawyer has already been instructed to take action. She said she is ready to present all her evidence in court if necessary.
