Popular Nigerian socialite and influencer Papaya Ex has raised alarm on social media after accusing operatives of the Lagos State Police Command of physically assaulting her during an encounter in Lagos.

She claimed the officer used a gun to hit her, leaving a visible red welt on her face.

Following the alleged assault, the influencer took to her Instagram page to cry for help, sharing a video that showed the injury on her face. In the emotional clip, the red mark was clearly visible as she accused the officer of using excessive force.
In her caption, she wrote:
“An officer beat me up right inside my car. He used his gun on me. Please I am at Ajah y’all, I’m bleeding.”
