Turkish champions Galatasaray are reportedly planning to strengthen their attacking options this summer, with two high-profile forwards emerging as targets to support Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
According to Galatasaray reporter Burhan Can Terzi, the club has identified Jhon Durán and Randal Kolo Muani as leading candidates to reinforce the team’s attack ahead of the new season.
Terzi revealed that the Turkish giants are evaluating both players as potential partners for Osimhen, who remains a key figure in the club’s plans.
“The two names that Galatasaray are most keenly considering as strikers to partner and support Osimhen are Jhon Duran and Kolo Muani,” Terzi was quoted as saying.
According to the report, Galatasaray’s management is particularly interested in Durán because of the financial feasibility of a potential deal.
“Galatasaray management is favourably inclined towards Jhon Duran due to his affordable cost,” he added.
The development comes amid continued speculation surrounding Osimhen’s future despite the striker being linked with several top European clubs in recent months.
However, reports indicate that the Super Eagles star has ruled out an immediate departure from Galatasaray and remains committed to the Turkish Super Lig champions.
Osimhen has been one of the club’s standout performers and remains central to their ambitions both domestically and in European competitions.
Galatasaray are expected to remain active in the transfer market as they seek to build a squad capable of defending their league title and making a deeper impact in continental competitions next season.
With the summer transfer window approaching, attention will now turn to whether the club can secure the services of Durán, Kolo Muani, or another attacking option to strengthen their frontline alongside Osimhen.
