An entertainment lawyer has criticised singer Seyi Vibez for bringing celebrity chef Hilda Baci into the ongoing controversy surrounding music executive Dapper.
The lawyer questioned the relevance of Hilda Baci to the dispute and described the singer’s reference to her as unfair.
Reacting to Seyi Vibez’s post on X, the lawyer said Hilda should not have been mentioned, particularly because she is no longer associated with Dapper.
“How did Hilda get dragged into this? From where to where. This is not appropriate at all. She’s not even with him any longer. A very unfair tweet,” the lawyer wrote.
The reaction followed a post by Seyi Vibez in which the singer referenced Hilda Baci while criticising Dapper amid allegations and claims involving the music executive and some artistes.
Seyi Vibez wrote: “I chop Hilda Baci food one day. Na the same Dapper give me. The food almost kill me.”
The comment has since drawn attention because of its reference to Hilda Baci, who has previously been linked to Dapper.
The lawyer’s reaction has added another dimension to the controversy, with the focus shifting partly to whether individuals who are not directly involved in the current dispute should be mentioned in public exchanges.
