Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem star Tacha Akide has reportedly been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force after allegedly failing to honour three invitations issued by the authorities.
According to media personality Seun Oloketuyi, Tacha was reportedly arrested early Monday morning at her residence in Ajah, Lagos.
Oloketuyi claimed that the reality TV star had received three invitations from the police between May and August but allegedly failed to appear.
“Just in. Tacha has been arrested today by the NPF. Arrested early this morning after she was sent 3 invitations between May and August by the NPF, NCCC, but she decided not to honour the IV. She was picked up at her Ajah residence early this morning,” Oloketuyi stated.
The report has generated reactions online, although the circumstances surrounding the alleged arrest have not been independently confirmed.
The development comes months after Tacha was involved in a controversy over allegations she made against a man in March.
The reality star had shared a video accusing the man of rape, with reports claiming that the allegation affected his employment opportunities and a prospective job opportunity abroad.
However, it remains unclear whether the reported arrest is connected to that incident or another matter being investigated by the police.
